*The promotion period for all levels of RCx training (at promotion prices) is valid until 31 December 2025.
**To enjoy the early bird rate, the enrolment should be submitted before the deadline of early bird rate. For the group discount, the enrolment should be submitted in one batch.
 

Important Notes

Enrolment
 
  • Everyone is welcome to join the RCx training and examination.
  • Enrolment is processed on a first-come-first-served basis. An invoice will be issued to the candidate for payment. The candidate should pay within 21 days from the invoice date, or one day before the training or examination starts, whichever is earlier. Enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of payment. Overdue payment will be considered as a cancellation of enrolment.   
  • The payment is non-refundable unless the training or examination is cancelled by the HKGBC. The payment is also nontransferrable unless a written request is received by the HKGBC before the training or examination starts. The payment will not be refunded to the latecomer, early leaver, or absentee. The HKGBC reserves the right to postpone or cancel the training or examination. In such cases, the affected candidate will be notified and refunded.  
  • The RCx training and examination are parts of the registration requirements. The candidate should submit an application to register as RCx Practitioner or RCx Professional after passing the examination. The detailed registration requirements can be found HERE.

Participation in the RCx Training
 
  1. Training Materials
    • Upon confirmation of enrolment, the candidate will receive training materials and references (if any) approximately one week prior to the training. Candidates are advised to review the training beforehand and bring either electronic or printed training materials for the training. No training materials will be provided at the training venue.
    • All rights reserved. No reproduction or reprint of the training materials for commercial purposes is allowed without prior written authorisation from the HKGBC.
  2. Attendance
    • Training will be conducted in a physical format. Candidates are strongly advised to arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the training starts.   
  3. Issuance of Certificate
    • Upon confirmation of payment and completion of the training, candidates will receive a Certificate of Attendance via email within 5 working days. To ensure sufficient training is provided to the candidate, the Certificate of Attendance will not be issued to the latecomer who is late for over 30 minutes or early leaver who leaves without prior consent from the HKGBC.

Participation in the RCx Examination
 
  1. Rules for RCx Examination
    • Candidates should complete the RCx training before attending the examination. Candidates are strongly advised to review the training materials prior to the examination.
    • The examination will be conducted in a physical format. Candidates should bring electronic or printed training materials and stationery, i.e., pencil and eraser for the open-book examination. No training materials or stationery will be provided at the examination venue.
    • In the event of an unforeseen situation, candidates must report immediately to the HKGBC Secretariat. Late reports will not be accepted. Candidates who fail or are absent from the examination will be required to retake it for an additional fee.
    • Candidates are warned that any of the following offences may lead to disqualification from the examination: 
      • Obtaining unauthorised access to examination content before the examination.  
      • Plagiarising the work of another candidate.
      • Communicating or attempting to communicate in any form with individuals inside or outside the examination venue during an examination session.
      • Attempting to take away any examination materials from the examination venue without authorisation.  
      • Attempting to copy or record examination questions in any format.
      • Impersonating or requesting others to impersonate.
      • Deliberately disturbing or causing a nuisance to another candidate.  
      • Disobeying the instructions of the HKGBC Secretariat or being excessively rude to the HKGBC Secretariat.
      • Leaving the examination venue before the end of the examination session without authorisation.  
  2. Official Notification of Examination Result and Issuance of Certificate
    • Upon confirmation of payment and completion of the examination, candidates will receive an official notification of the examination result via email within 5 working days. A Certificate of Attendance will be provided to candidates who pass the examination, along with the official notification.  
  3. Retake
    • Candidates who have failed the examination can retake it within 1 year from the first examination date by paying an additional examination fee. If the examination is not passed within 1 year, candidates will be required to retake both RCx training and examination and need to pay the necessary fees.  
  4. Rescheduling of RCx Examination
    • The examination will be held immediately after the training. Candidates are not allowed to reschedule the examination unless a written explanation is provided and the rescheduling is granted before the examination starts. The rescheduled examination will be conducted on the next working day, subject to the arrangements made by the HKGBC Secretariat. Failure to adhere to this may result in the candidate being required to retake the examination, incurring an additional examination fee.
    • Candidates who are absent from the examination without prior notice to the HKGBC as stated above is required to retake the examination and pay an additional examination fee.
